Greg Renegar, Astec Industries

Greg started working at Astec in 1983 as a drafter & started as an engineer in 1985 after graduating from the University of Tennessee.  Greg has worked as a field project engineer for approximately 12 years.  After that, he became the Director of Thermal Systems & Research, and has held the position of Chief Engineer since 2004.

Gail Mize, Astec Industries

Gail was one of Astec Industries’ founders in 1972.  His responsibilities through the years have included V.P. of Engineering, Executive V.P., and C.O.O.  Gail majored in engineering & physics at the University of Tennessee, and holds fifteen patents covering heat transfer and mechanical developments.  He has been an active member on many Associations in the Asphalt Industry for several years.

Chris Holt – AMEC Earth & Environmental

A Senior Remediation & Materials Engineer with AMEC, Chris has over 15 years of academic, design, and construction experience in the pavement recycling industry, with a focus on sustainable solutions.  He holds a PhD in chemical stabilization of soils and is a Professional Engineer.

Chris Thompson, Roto-Mill Services Ltd.

Chris focuses his time on promoting & supporting In-Place Asphalt Recycling Techniques at Roto-Mill Services Ltd.  He also promotes “green” and sustainable pavements to various levels of government.  Chris graduated with a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology in 1985 and has over 23 years of civil engineering industry experience.  His roles have included pavement management, road design, contract administration, & contract management.  Chris is an active member of many Associations in the Asphalt Industry.

Adrian Jacobs, CAT

Working as the Canadian Paving Projects Manager of Caterpillar of Canada for the past 10 years, Adrian has held all duties from field service, technical training, and sales/marketing.  He has been in the paving arena for 26 years.

Ryan Clarke, Lafarge Canada

Ryan is Lafarge’s Quality Manager for Aggregates – Asphalt & Construction in Atlantic Canada.  He assumed this position after graduating from the Technical University of NS in 2000.Ryan has been an active member on many Associations in the Asphalt Industry for several years.
